Track – Circulaire ketenregie kleding en textiel

Circulaire Economie is een systeem waarin hoogwaardige diensten worden geleverd, en waar producten zo lang mogelijk meegaan, om vervolgens te worden hergebruikt en gerecycled.

Door circulaire ontwerpprincipes toe te passen, kom je als textiel- of kledingbedrijf tot onder andere minder verspilling en kortere doorlooptijden. Je krijgt bovendien meer inzicht in klantwaarde en kunt je daarop gaan richten met een grotere kans op verkoop als gevolg. Hoe kun je als leverancier circulaire ontwerpstrategieën en businessmodellen toepassen in je eigen productieketen? Dat ontdek je in deze Circular Business Design Track.

Ambities Rijksoverheid

Door te investeren in een circulaire textielsector draag je bij aan de ambities van het kabinet binnen het Rijksbrede Programma Circulaire Economie en de Transitie agenda’s.

Tijdens de CIRCO Track gaan we aan de slag om circulaire business te ontwikkelen. Je wordt op weg geholpen in een gefaciliteerd design proces, met kennis, instrumenten en interactie met andere bedrijven en ontwerpers. Na afloop heb je zowel een lange termijn visie ontwikkeld, als een concreet plan om morgen mee te beginnen.

Online Workshop Track

CIRCO biedt een driedaags ontwikkeltraject aan in samenwerking met Modint en FGHS (Brancheorganisatie voor sportleveranciers). In dit traject brengen wij bedrijven producerende textiel- en sport-kledingbedrijven en hun ketenpartners bij elkaar om hen vanuit ieders eigen positie en businesscase op weg te helpen en kennis op te doen van circulair ondernemen en circulair design. Zo ontdekken we samen nieuwe kansen en worden businessmodellen voor circulaire kleding, textiel en sportartikelen in gang gezet.

Deze Track is Engelstalig en is zal online plaatsvinden.

Programma

In de Track maak je kennis met de mogelijkheden van circulair ondernemen en ontwerpen. Je verkent kansen daarvan voor je eigen business en zet concrete eerste stappen richting de ontwikkeling van nieuwe producten, diensten en businessmodellen. Allemaal volgens de bewezen CIRCO methodiek. 

Dag 1: Kansen in kaart brengen
Duik dieper in het gedachtegoed van de circulaire economie. De waardevernietiging in de huidige keten wordt in beeld gebracht en de circulaire kansen worden geïdentificeerd en geselecteerd.

Dag 2: Uitwerking
De meest kansrijke circulaire propositie wordt in detail uitgewerkt met behulp van circulaire designmethoden en businessmodellen uit de boeken Products that Last en Products that Flow. Dit resulteert in een circulaire klantpropositie met een businessmodel, product(re)design en aanvullende diensten.

Dag 3: Implementatie
Ieder bedrijf stelt een implementatie-roadmap op om zijn circulaire propositie naar de markt te brengen. Wanneer gebeurt wat, maar ook met wie om de benodigde veranderingen te realiseren? Al het materiaal van de Track wordt gedocumenteerd in een Circulair Business Canvas.

• Je ontwikkelt plannen die op korte termijn realiseerbaar zijn voor je bedrijf, en krijgt zicht op mogelijke systeemveranderingen op lange termijn.
• Meedoen aan CIRCO biedt veel kansen voor aanhaken op een breed netwerk, contact met andere sectoren en een groeiende community.
• Je draagt als bedrijf bij aan de ontwikkeling van een circulaire economie, waarin producten en materialen worden hergebruikt en grondstoffen hun waarde behouden.
• De CIRCO Track wordt verzorgd door ervaren CIRCO-trainers.

Less waste, more customer value

In the Netherlands, large quantities of textiles are bought and disposed of. Circular business can help to reduce the quantity of unsold stocks and textile waste, or prevent this from happening.

By applying circular design principles, as a textile or clothing company you can achieve benefits such as less waste and shorter lead times. You will also gain more insights into customer value and can focus on this, leading to a greater chance of sales. As a supplier, how can you apply circular design strategies and business models in your own production chain? This is what you will discover in the Circular Business Design Track.

Dutch government’s ambitions

By investing in a circular textile sector, you will be contributing to the government’s ambitions within the government-wide Circular Economy programme and the Transition agendas.

During the CIRCO Track, we will start to develop circular businesses. Along the way, you will be helped by means of a facilitated design process with knowledge, tools and interaction with other companies and designers. Afterwards, you will have developed both a long-term vision and a concrete plan that you can put into action right away.

Three-day Workshop Track

Circular Economy is a system in which high-quality services are provided and in which products are used for as long as possible before being reused and recycled.

CIRCO offers a three-day development track in collaboration with Modint and FGHS (the Dutch Association of Sport Product Manufacturers and Wholesalers). In this track, we bring together companies producing textile and sports clothing and their chain partners to help them get started from their own position and business case and gain knowledge of circular enterprise and circular design. Together, we will discover new opportunities and initiate business models for circular clothing, textiles and sporting goods.

This Track is offered in English and will be offered online.

Program

Day 1 Initiate Workshop
On this first day, you will immerse yourself in the ideas and concepts of the circular economy. We will analyse the current linear value chain.

Day 2 Ideate Workshop
The second session focuses on circular business models and design strategies. We will pick up on the opportunities from the previous workshop and explore them in more depth.

Day 3 Implement Workshop
The last workshop will prepare you to transition towards the realisation of circular products, services and business models. We will examine the technical and commercial feasibility of the results of the previous workshop, their consequences for business operations and the circular impact. You will also learn how to deal with barriers.
