“I am very excited to be CIRCO-trainer, as I can contribute to the dissemination of the circular economy and its application in the business strategy of companies in Rio de Janeiro. We have a great challenge in translating the concept of circular economy simply and clearly, demonstrating that circular economy is not just recycling and exemplifying several cases.”
“Shell, a member of a CIRCO Track in 2019, has an initiative called Shell Eco-marathon in which students across the country are challenged to design, build and drive vehicles that run the longest distance with the least amount of fuel. A race focused on energy efficiency. This year they entered an award category considering the demonstration of the Circular Economy concept in the conception, design, production, operation and disassembly of the vehicle. I participated in the evaluation board, it was an enriching experience.”
