With a degree in industrial design and a master’s degree in industrial design and production from the IADE, European University, David Camocho has collaborated, since 2001, with LNEG, the National Energy and Geology Laboratory, in the development of research projects in the areas of Design, Ecodesign, Sustainability and Circular Economy, and since 2017 as assistant professor at IADE, where promotes the integration of methodologies and sustainability concepts in the management and practice of design. 

Committed to the development of methodologies and tools to systematically integrate sustainability and the Circular Economy into the development process of companies, increasing added value and fostering innovation in products, processes, systems and business models, it is currently developing its research in Design and Circular Economy within the scope of the doctoral program at IADE focused on supporting the transition to a Circular and Sustainable Economy through Design. 

Motivated to promote innovative design practices, considers that the CIRCO methodology and tools, with a focus on practical and project-oriented application, are important to support and motivate designers and companies in the transition to Circularity.
