Fostering the transition to a circular economy with the CIRCO Method
CIRCO Circular Design Tracks is one of the main blocks of the Turkey Circular Economy Platform. It provides Turkish companies with the necessary training that can help them develop relevant skills and methodologies to support the circular transition of their business.
The Turkey Circular Economy Platform
Since 2016, BCSD Turkey* and The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have joined forces to support businesses in identifying circular opportunuties and provide solutions to turn them into reality. The journey started with Turkey Materials Marketplace that was instrumental in creating an ecosystem around circular economy. Through the course of the past 4 years, the need to create a space where anything and everything on circular economy is explained in detail was felt. In 2020, TMM was transformed into the Turkey Circular Economy Platform (TCEP).
With the establishment of the TCEP, the aim is to provide practical solutions, incentives, knowledge and networking opportunities in the field of circular economy. The platform includes a knowledge hub, an e-commerce platform (i.e. Turkey Materials Marketplace), measurement tools, and offers training, financial opportunities, and consultancy services for companies that are truly looking to accelerate their transition to a circular business model.
